Thank you so much for the sweet comments on my Child’s Play Kitchen. You all were so encouraging that it inspired me to make another one! I am so excited to share this makeover with you, I can hardly contain myself! This candy Christmas play kitchen is so festive!
How The Christmas Play Kitchen Came To Be
This project really put me in the Christmas Spirit, and I hope it does the same for you!
This sweet kitchen was previously a discarded computer desk that I found at my local thrift shop. I frequent this shop so often that they now ask me “what are your plans for this one?”
The sales girl kind of looked at me funny when I told her it was going to be a kitchen, as if she could not envision it.
Well my vision was clear, I wanted it to be childlike and fun and make any little one feel right at “Home for Christmas”… A Country Christmas.
With a few round pieces cut out to make a sink and a couple stove burners, some red paint, and a bit of imagination, you can make your little girl’s dreams a reality. What do you think? Are you up for the challenge?

This makeover displays all of my favorite things:
The peppermints make me happy and remind me of my Peppermint Pattie Headboard Bench.
I am in love, love, love with my Nieman Marcus Gingerbread House!
The ruffles on the doors are so sweet and they open up to display lots of goodies.
And there are even more goodies on the sides, what every little one needs to cook up a fabulous imaginary Country Christmas Dinner!
This vibrant red is my favorite color these days, especially around the holidays!
Wonder where I got all of the kitchen items? Amazon has them! Take a look:
