Have you been collecting your wine corks? It’s time to get them out and get busy. I went on a searching binge and found a lot of interesting projects you can try. I’ll share several quick and easy DIY wine cork crafts you can do alone, with a friend, and even with the children.
Fun Wine Cork Projects
Before you start crafting with corks, make sure you check out my post about cutting corks, so you don’t end up loding a bunch to poor cutting procedure.
Some of the first projects that come to mind are simple shapes made with corks for home decor.
For example, you can create a really easy heart to display somewhere in the house. Make in big and display it in the dining room or even bedroom.
Make smaller hearts to leave on your children’s nightstand, to remind them they are loved. Or, add a string to it and make it into a recycled Valentine’s day gift.
If you have a bit more time, paint the ends of the corks and create Christmas tree decoration. Add a base and you can set it on your mantle.
Or, add some ribbon and a ceramic pot and make it a special gift for a friend.
I hope you’re having fun so far. Here’s another idea for a bard wall, or outdoors.
Make Mini Planter Magnets for The Fridge
I love this idea! It will take some dexterity, so maybe not a project for the kids, but how cute! This would work perfectly for succulents.
You’ll need a small drill (this one is a crafter’s favorite)and some miniature magnets.
